Safety Instructions
• For best results, trim the wick to 1/8 inch each time before lighting.
• Place candles on a flat leveled heat resistant surface.
• Keep away from children, pets, bedding, and anything flammable.
• Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room.
• Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, or any airflow. If candles are burned in a drafty location, they may tunnel. All candles are prone to tunneling if put in this type of condition because the edge of the wax is not heated enough to melt.
• Recommended burn time is approximately 3 hours at a time or at least until the wax pool is completely melted. (Rule of Thumb - Burn candle for 1 hour per inch of diameter.)
• Candle and glass becomes HOT during burn, handle with caution!
• Do not drop foreign matter, wick trimmings, or matches into wax pool.
• Never leave a burning candle out of sight or unattended.
• Use caution when extinguishing candle
• If smoke occurs, candle flickers repeatedly, or the flame becomes too high; extinguish candle. Let candle set and cool, trim wick, move from draft and re-light. Always use a wick dipper to avoid any smoke when extinguishing.
• If you experience any blackening on the jar, make sure your wick is trimmed to 1/8 inch and take caution not to allow your lighting flame to touch the side of the jar.
• Always read and follow all manufacturer instructions.

Wet Spots
Soy Candles are more sensitive to temperature than traditional candles. When temperatures fluctuate, the wax expands and contracts causing spots which appear wet and adhere to the glass. These wet spots will change as the candles are burning and the room temperature changes. This in no way affects the quality of the candles.
Soy candles are sensitive to temperature and light so be aware of the location when placing or storing your soy candle. Place your candles away from sunlight, fluorescent lighting, and sources of heat.
